I'm not dead yet!

Whew, its been a busy month or so! I have sorely neglected this blog, and I hope to make up for that in the coming weeks..

The first of my adventures in the last month was a much-anticipated trip to San Francisco with two awesome friends from school. We wandered around the city, we were girly and had our nails done, and we took a road trip up to Napa for a few days of wonderful weather, great food, and even better wine. The time away has done wonders for my energy, both physical and creative. Of course, a week of gorgeous sunny weather didn't hurt either. :)

Once I got back I found myself going on a surprise business trip to New York for a usability conference in addition to starting two new classes for the semester (more on those to come). I haven't had much time for crafty projects, but I can already tell that several of my assignments are going to turn into larger art pieces for me at some point.

So, here's to being inspired! A few other things that are inspiring me today:

Crafty Bastards!
September 27, 2005

I'm so so so looking forward going to the Crafty Bastards fair this weekend. Whats that you say? You don't know what Crafty Bastards is? Well, its a local craft show in Adams Morgan sponsored by the Washington City Paper (the name Crafty Bastards comes from the name of the crafts classified section of the paper). This is its second year (I think?) and all sorts of cool vendors will be making an appearance. I can't wait to see all the fun stuff! It is very likely I will return with lots of goodies.
