Gardening Apron
May 18, 2005

A few months ago, some very dear friends gave me, among other things, a copy of You Grow Girl for my birthday. I absorbed the entire book in one lazy weekend morning, and resolved to try and make the gardening apron project described in the book.

Time passed, but this weekend I finally made it out to G Street Fabrics to stock up on chocolate brown corduroy and pink denim (every girl needs some pink denim!).

And finally, last night, I actually sat down and made myself a gardening apron:

This small dove was apparently interested in gardening, too, because he joined me on the deck while I took these pictures this morning.

Hi Katy,

I didn't even know you had this site until I saw it in my stats. It looks great! Mind if I link ya? And that's not meant to be dirty :)
