Painted Headboard

This a simple, inexpensive way to spruce up a bedroom without investing in a whole headboard.

Materials
Blank wall
Level
Ruler and/or chalk snap line
1 Quart interior latex paint - satin or eggshell finish
Paintbrush/roller and tray

Step 1

Step 2

Step 3

Step 4
painted-headboard-remove-tape.jpgCarefully remove the blue tape so that you have a clean edge for your painted headboard. Sometimes small pieces of paint will come off with the tape, so you might need to touch up some edges with a brush.

Step 5
